DailyMusicDrills.com is operated by Bergwiese UG ("Bergwiese", "we", "us"). This privacy policy explains what personal data we process when you use DailyMusicDrills.

Controller

Data we process

We process account data such as your email address, encrypted password credentials, profile settings, and authentication information needed to provide your account.

If you opt in to practice tips and product updates, we process your email address and consent preference through Brevo. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time in Settings. Withdrawing consent removes you from the newsletter list and does not prevent password resets or other necessary account emails.

We process usage data generated while you use the service, including practice sessions, drill answers, progress statistics, preferences, notifications, friendship/blocking settings, and similar product data.

We process technical data such as IP address, browser information, device information, timestamps, requested URLs, log data, and cookie or consent identifiers when this is necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service.

When you start or manage a paid subscription, we process billing-related data such as your selected subscription plan, subscription status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, invoice or checkout status, billing address details where required, and payment-related metadata returned by Stripe. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on DailyMusicDrills servers.

Why we process data

We process personal data to provide DailyMusicDrills, keep accounts secure, remember your preferences, calculate practice progress, prevent abuse, maintain the service, comply with legal obligations, and understand how the product is used.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

DailyMusicDrills uses Cookiebot to manage cookie consent and to document your consent choices.

We use a private Matomo analytics instance operated by Bergwiese UG to understand aggregate product usage and improve the service.

We use Google Ads to drive traffic to DailyMusicDrills. In connection with Google Ads, we may use Google's gtag to measure advertising performance and conversions when you have given the required consent.

We use Stripe to process subscription checkout, recurring billing, invoices, refunds, and billing portal access. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud prevention, tax, and compliance data according to its own privacy documentation.

We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only where necessary to operate DailyMusicDrills, comply with the law, protect the service, process payments and subscriptions, or use the external services described in this policy. These services may process data according to their own terms and privacy documentation.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, security, legal compliance, and legitimate business records. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to legal retention obligations and technically necessary backups.
